Education and training of scaffolders
During the course, participants will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills for assembly and disassembly of scaffolding. Completion leads to a Scaffolder Certificate.
Scope of the scaffolders course
Participation requirements
Completed compulsory school attendance, age at least 18 years, medical fitness certificate not older than 6 months.
Course scope
Basic course: 34 hours. Repeated familiarization: 3 hours. Update professional training: 4 hours.
Repeated familiarization and update training
Familiarization with regulatory changes and current OHS knowledge. Repeated every 12 months (Decree 147/2013, §3 para. 1). Update training every 5 years (Act 124/2006, §16 para. 8).
Types of scaffolding
A – tubular, B – supporting, C – mobile and free-standing, D – wooden, E – construction platform elevator, F – modular scaffolding.
