Cookie Policy

How Alpha Safety s.r.o. uses cookies and how you can manage your consent at any time.

Last updated: 5 July 2026

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on alphasafety.sk, for what purpose, and how you can change or withdraw your consent at any time. The use of cookies is governed by Section 109 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications and Art. 7 GDPR.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to function, to remember your choices, and to measure traffic. Similar technologies also include localStorage storage and advertising pixels.

2. Legal basis and consent

Pursuant to Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll., we may store or read information on your device only with your demonstrable consent — with the exception of the necessary cookies required for the site to function. We therefore load analytical and marketing cookies only after you have given your consent. Consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time.

We store your consent choice in the browser in localStorage under the key "alphasafety-cookie-consent" — this is not a cookie transmitted to the server, it only serves to remember your choice. The act of giving or withdrawing consent is additionally recorded on our server within the EU (Supabase, Frankfurt) as proof under Art. 7(1) GDPR — time, policy version, selected categories and a hashed IP, with no direct identifiers.

3. Default behaviour (Google Consent Mode)

Before consent is granted, all non-essential categories are disabled by default (Google Consent Mode v2: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization = denied). No analytical or marketing cookies are loaded until you click "Accept" or activate a category in the settings.

  • Analytical – help us measure and improve traffic (Google Analytics 4). Only with consent.
  • Marketing – used for advertising and remarketing (Google Ads, Meta). Only with consent.

6. How to change or withdraw consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of the page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (Art. 7(3) GDPR). After the consent is withdrawn, we deactivate the relevant tools and remove the associated cookies.

You can also manage cookies in your browser settings; however, blocking necessary cookies may limit the functionality of the site.

7. Supervision

Supervision over the storage of cookies is exercised by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (Section 109 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll.). The processing of personal data obtained through cookies is also governed by the Privacy Policy and is supervised by the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

8. Final provisions

We may update this policy from time to time. The version currently published on this page always prevails. In case of any discrepancy between language versions, the Slovak version prevails.
